Blood Capture Card

The Blood Capture Card is a new medium for storing DNA based on plant fiber. It can combine DNA on the card and is specially designed for the collection, transportation and storage of blood samples at room temperature. Through the unique formula and production process, the product has the functions of protein denaturation, cell membrane rupture, DNA adsorption and fixation and inhibition of bacterial growth, so as to ensure that the target DNA can be stored on the card for many years, and because of protein denaturation, the pathogenic microorganisms or viruses in the biological samples lose their activity, avoiding the risk of pollution by operators, and ensuring the safety of long-distance transportation.

The Blood Capture Card is divided into sample area, information area and labeling area. There are 4 sampling rings in the sample area and each sampling ring can collect 75-80 μL of whole blood.
